The major changes in the procurement system will be:

1. Procurement worth until RM50,000 per item per year will be able to make a direct purchase from any supplier and without any bumiputra restriction.
(Before that, it was a rule that the procurement worth RM10k - RM50k per item per year must be purchase from registered Bumiputra supplier/companies.)

2. SPP Bil.8 Year 2004 circular are hereby cancelled
